The descendant of al Hasan bin Ali, al Sayyid Husain bin Mahdi [1139-1187h] on shirk at the graves

The descendant of al Hasan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, al Sayyid Husain bin Mahdi [1139هـ/1187هـ] said regarding shirk and innovations near the graves.

“The evil practices happen while visiting the graves can’t be written here as the pen is incapable to write all of it.

The prescribed (visiting graves is) to remember the hereafter, and doing Ihsan on them by praying for mercy, and doing Istighfar for them and praying about their aafiyah, but the Qaburioon (Grave worshipers) changed the order of religion and started shirk with the dead by doing dua from them, asking them for need, asking for the blessing and asking victory over enemies..” [Roughly Translated]
